I can vividly remember where I was the day Google went public. I was thinking to myself…”I should toss everything at I own at this stock.” I’m glad I didn’t. The company is clearly going downhill.

CBS bought last.fm for a cool 280 million yesterday.

I love last.fm. I’ve found a lot of great music through the site. A high level overview for those who don’t understand what 280 million gets you: you sign up for a last.fm account. Once your account is set up you have the ability to scrobble the tracks that you listen to. “Scrobbling” tells the servers at last.fm what you’re listening to. Last.fm then takes the data you send them and recommends new artists based on what other users are listening to with similar music tastes. It also allows you create charts of what you’ve listened to that are useful for showing how your wife got you addicted to the Dixie Chick’s Easy Silence.

Lifehacker is one of the sites I read daily. The content is always fresh, the interface is engaging, and they afford me the guilty pleasure of running around our house playing with everyday items that I once took for granted.

We have 3 chip clips in our house, that’s how we roll…we keep it real. Rather than buying extra clips I tend to group 5 bags of chips together with one clip…it’s kind of like a chip corsage. My chip corsage will soon be a thing of the past as I can now “penny roll” a bag of chips.

I used to try to roll my pants using this same method in grade school…FACT.

This reminds me a lot of the japenese t-shirt folding method I was obsessed with years ago.

I love other people’s workspaces. I spend a lot of time at my desk…viewing other’s spaces helps to give me ideas on what I can do with mine to make it a more comfortable and productive environment to work in.

I don’t know what amazes me more…the fact that Wal-Mart now builds websites or this guy’s expression.
